Frank Delgado

Frank Mirelez Delgado is the keyboardist, turntablist and sampler of Deftones. After contributing as a guest performer on Adrenaline and Around the Fur, he joined the band as a full-time member in 1999 ahead of the recording of White Pony, becoming part of the classic lineup that continues today.

Rather than using turntables in a traditional DJ role, Delgado is known for creating atmospheric textures, samples and soundscapes that became an essential part of Deftones’ evolving sound. Beginning with the self-titled album Deftones, he increasingly incorporated keyboards and synthesizers into the band’s recordings. Outside Deftones, he has also performed as part of the DJ collective Decibel Devils.
